A 5-day immersive festival in Central Mexico

SAVIA brings together 7 teachers from North and South America for 30 hours of Contact Improvisation and somatic movement practice — open jams, a performance night, vegetarian meals prepared on site, and access to 25 acres of forest, rivers, and waterfalls.

PRICING TIERS EXPLAINED

  • Supported: You are a student, have a limited budget, or live in a country with a less stable economy (e.g., Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Philippines, some Eastern European countries).

  • Base: You have stable employment, regular income, and/or live in a country with a higher cost of living in dollars (e.g., United States, Australia, most Western European countries).

  • Supporter: You have the means to contribute a bit more than the standard price to help subsidize registrations for "Supported Tier" participants. Thank you for your generosity!

SAVIA — from the Spanish for sap, the life that flows through living things — is a first-edition festival born from cross-border collaboration between organizers based in San Diego and Tijuana, rooted in a shared love for CI and the communities it builds.
